Ultimate Fighting Championship the new WWE

I have been watching Ufc since they was small time and was banned in many state's. I've gotten back into it in the last severl months only to be disapointed at how it has turned out! It has became the new World Wresting Federation, was anybody surprised that Chuck won last night? Anybody surprised the ref would stop the fight? (like they did with shamrock and ortiz) Or how about when Ortiz took chuck down they just set there for a few seconds.. No punches thrown then chuck rolled to his feet while ortiz piggy back rode him! And let not forget about the announcers continually bringing up the fact jardine was the only fighter to beat Chuck in the last 3 years! And he just so happed to be in the crowed with his (junkyard dog) looking chain around his neck... What a gimmick!

That was Rampage Jackson not Keith Jardine. The UFC just bought another smaller organization which happened to have Rampage under contract. Rampage has been wearing the chain for as long as he has been fighting, it's his signature. The same as Chuck having the mohawk and Tito having blonde hair.

As for the way the UFC is growing, well it's part of the game. They have to have a big production if anyone ever plans to get payed big money. They have recently signed a deal with HBO, and should have a few televised UFC's on HBO this year. They have to cater to all types. Do the old school fans really like it? No, but it's the only way to truly grow.

Yea Jackson was the guy, my fault on that one... The problem right now with Ufc, the outcomes of the high profile fights are being predictable.. Other guy's with out the publicity beat each other to death, then when you have the main event... well you can call it before it happens, seems very scrpited. They are picking up fan base right now but i think if they don't go back a bit to how they started then fan's will loose intrest.

I'm gonna agree with the main events, seeming like they are scripted. When you have a main event, you could take any 5 people, about 3 outta those 5 could almost predict the way the fight will go and what will be the outcome
